Reply:  If you have any questions, please contact Dan DuPre, executive Director of CWW (, or GCSC Wildwood Chairman, Susan Hite (

Camp Wildwood is a fun-filled week during which students can experience the many aspects of their natural environment. It is a place to discover that we are part of nature and everything we do in some way affects the natural balance. At Camp Wildwood, you acquire the knowledge and appreciation needed for the protection and wise use of our natural resources.

This camp would not be possible if not for the Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc.  For over 65 years, the GCSC and the SC Dept. of Natural Resources have teamed together to provide this unique opportunity for the youth of South Carolina and beyond.

Registration for Camp Wildwood (June 18-24, 2023) opens on OCTOBER 1, 2022.  For the next 30 days, registration is exclusively open to only Garden Clubs.  I encourage you to find a camper and share the below link with their parents.  It is crucial that the parents register their camper prior to NOVEMBER 1, 2022.  On NOVEMBER 1, we will open registration to the public and camp will be full shortly after.

Other FAQ and Info

  • Can you hold(s) a spot for our club?  Unfortunately, we cannot.  In years past, we have held spots and then Garden Clubs could not find a camper leaving open spots that could not be filled in time.

  • Can I (Garden Club Rep) fill out the registration for the camper?  No, there is info/waivers that parents and campers must complete.  Please share the registration info with the parents/camper.

  • I would like to make a donation, where do I send it?  Please send your donation to Camp Wildwood, PO Box 167, Columbia, SC  29202.  We will make note of the donation and fwd the donation to the GCSC Treasurer.  Do not send FIVE STAR HONOR donations to this address, please send all FIVE STAR HONOR Donations, directly to the GCSC Treasurer.

  • Do you need to send the registration fee at the time of online registration?  No, you can send the fee at a later date.  It is important to submit the application

  • PII Statement:  PII (Personal Identifiable Information) is very important to us.  To be PII Compliant, we only communicate camper information with the parents/guardians. If you contact us and ask for a phone number / email address / address, we will not be able to provide that info.  We highly encourage you to keep the parents / camper’s contact in so you can correspond.
