GPS To Bear’s Den Social Club

 

The main entrance to King’s Mountain State Park is directly across from the Bear’s Den Social Club on HWY 161, whose address you can use to program your GPS.

Directions from Park Entrance

 

• Camp Wildwood is housed at Camp York Group Camp.

• Upon entering King’s Mountain State Park, travel 1.1 miles and turn left onto Camp Cherokee Rd.  Look for signs for Camp York.

  • SIDENOTE:  If you need a restroom, we suggest stopping at the Kings Mountain State Park Living History Farm (on Camp Cherokee Rd, on left).  The restroom looks like a log cabin.  Restrooms at Camp Wildwood will not be open to the general public. 

• Travel 0.7 miles to the fork for Camp Cherokee and Camp York.  Bear right.  This will be your first station to check-in.  They will give you further directions when you stop.
