Hey Y'all, Below is the information you need to know about the spring meeting

  • First and foremost, I am super excited about this weekend.  It has been too long and I thank you for your willingness to come up and serve.  Can't wait to see y'all!

  • If your status has changed on the Facebook Event, please change it now.  I am going by that to see who is coming.  Also, if you haven't let me know via FB comment what time you are arriving, please do that now.  https://www.facebook.com/events/732331924091639

  • Point of contact:  I have made Hannah the official POC for the spring meeting.  So, if you need to relay a message to me, or you having problems getting to camp or dinner, please reach out to Hannah - her phone number is 803-837-0297.  Please put it in our phone, if you don't have it.

  • Gate locked: State park policy mandates the gate that leads to Camp York and Camp Cherokee to be locked at 9 PM each night and open at 7 AM.  If you arrive during those times, contact Hannah, and someone will ride out and unlock the gate.  Please let her know prior to sitting at the gate and waiting.

  • What to pack:  you will need clothes, toiletries, towels, etc for the time you are there.  Also, bring something to sleep on.  Typically counselors bring Enos and hang them in the mess hall.  You also can stay in a cabin or take a mattress up to the mess hall to sleep on.  You will need to bring a fitted sheet and sleeping bag if you plan to do that.  The mattresses are pretty dusty, from what I saw when we went up there.

  • I will provide breakfast (Sat and Sun) and lunch on Saturday.  Dinner on Friday at Palmetto Seafood is dutch treat and Saturday's dinner is potluck.  Please sign up to bring something, the link below.

  • Our service day begins at 8AM on Saturday.  I know some of you are saying you will be arriving later that morning.  If you can arrive as close to 8AM, that would be a big help.  We plan to send out crews close to 8AM and the state park people will be telling us what to do then.

  • If you have any "Landscaping" equipment or ladders, please bring them.  I really don't know what to expect but I am sure that will be a good start.

  • Below is our tentative agenda with links you may need.
