Camp Wildwood 3 (July 12-18, 2025)

I wanted to share a few final thoughts with you before our camp begins this Saturday, July 12. These are questions I've come across through emails and texts over the past few days.

 

Emergency Contact Information:


In case of an emergency at home and you need to reach us, you have two options. Due to spotty coverage, text messaging is the most reliable method. It's best to text both myself and Amanda Cromer, as we have different cell carriers, increasing the chances that your message will get through.

Desserts

 

A few parents have asked how they can help with CWW3. One way parents have helped us in the past is for campers to bring a dessert, such as brownies or cookies. We plan to combine all the desserts to create a special late-night “Dessert Fest” on Monday evening, for everyone to enjoy!

 

Air Mattresses

 

Usually, around 2 to 3 campers volunteer to bring air mattresses. This year, we had at least 12! However, we don’t need that many. To help manage the number of mattresses, only the boy campers are asked to bring them. Girls do not need to bring any.

Zoom Meeting

 

Each year, we offer campers the chance to connect with our staff via Zoom. This informal meet-and-greet provides an opportunity to introduce staff and campers, ask any questions you may have, and get a firsthand look at the lodge where we'll be staying—possibly even a virtual tour!  Please note, participation is not mandatory. The Zoom meeting is scheduled for this Friday, June 11, at 9:00 PM.
